To all of our Three-Day riders

It is with deep regret that we must cancel the Classic Three-Day portion of the IEA Horse Trials.

As you may or may not be aware, the park has received an extraordinary amount of rain that renders many of the areas we use for the Three-Day, unusable. This decision was not made lightly. Our course designer, the XC builders, the HHP staff, IEA Board members and the Organizer all looked at many options and logistics. The unanimous decision was that it is in the best interest of the horses’ and riders’ safety to not run the Classic format.

We are gutted since we believe in the value and fun of the Classic Format and stand firm in the commitment to continue to offer it in the future and thank you for your understanding!

Any Three-Day rider that would like to redirect to the Horse Trials may do so and we are happy to refund the difference between the Three-Day and the Horse Trials entry fees, as well as any extra nights of stabling needed for the Three-Day. Any Three-Day rider who chooses not to compete will receive a full refund, less the office fee.

At this time, the recognized horse trials are still a go, and we are looking forward to seeing everyone and are working hard to give our competitors a good competition. Please let us know ASAP or before Monday if you would like to move into the Horse Trials as we have to rework the schedule.

Ride times will be reworked and posted on Monday May 25th. If you are one of the people who saw their ride times posted earlier today, PLEASE DISREGARD THOSE TIMES!!
